Web2.0Expo/NY Thoughts so far
Avectra, the company I work for, sent the AvectraLabs crew to Web2.0Expo in New York. We had the privilege of attending the workshops on Monday, and the conference which runs through Thursday. So far I have learned quite a lot and became excited about many of these tools and processes presented by the plethora of speakers here. I plan on writing a summary about the presentations and workshops I’ve attended. Presentations that include CoffeScript, Node.JS, Flickr’s PuSH API, Redis, and much more.
One of the best presentations was given by Chad Dickerson, CEO of Etsy and the culture of Etsy. Where I learned about Deployinator, and the whole mentality of Code as Craft.
I’ll write up a better post summarising the presentations I attended and what I’ve learned.
I would like to thank Avectra,Inc. for allowing me to experience all of this pure awesomeness.
